James Comey is releasing a new anti-Trump book called ‘A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership’. Fox News anchor Chris Wallace described the book as ‘b*tchy’ with no new information. The book mocks Trump’s hands, his appearance and more. It could have been written by a young teenage girl.
Trey Gowdy discussed the sad book in an interview with Fox News. “I think it is sad. One of the things that Director Comey I agreed on, we need an apolitical FBI. We had fairly heated exchanges about that,” explained Gowdy.
“I can’t think of anyone who has done a job of politicizing the FBI than he has in the last 36 to 48 hours than talking about tanning bed goggles and the length of a tie. That is the beneath the dignity of the office he held. So, I’m really disappointed,” explained Gowdy.
“Whether or not the intelligence communities vetted this book, I hope he let them do it, so he is not disseminating classified information. My guess is he did. But the writing of the book in general and some of the things he is talking about are frankly beneath the dignity of some really important offices he once held,” he said.
Here is a small excerpt from the book. “[Trump’s] face appeared slightly orange, with bright white half-moons under his eyes where I assumed he placed small tanning goggles, and impressively coiffed, bright blond hair, which upon close inspection looked to be all his. I remember wondering, how long it must take him in the morning to get that done.”
