Colin Kaepernick just received some huge career-ending news. Nobody wants Kaepernick on their team. In an interview with the Bleach Report an AFC general manager explained exactly why Kaepernick will never get a job again.
“The problem is three things are happening with him. First, some teams genuinely believe that he can’t play. They think he’s shot. I’d put that number around 20 percent,” explained the manager.
“Second, some teams fear the backlash from fans after getting him. They think there might be protests or Trump will tweet about the team. I’d say that number is around 10 percent. Then there’s another 10 percent that has a mix of those feelings,” he explained.
“Third, the rest genuinely hate him and can’t stand what he did [kneeling for the national anthem]. They want nothing to do with him. They won’t move on. They think showing no interest is a form of punishment. I think some teams also want to use Kaepernick as a cautionary tale to stop other players in the future from doing what he did,” he explained.
Kaepernick recently made headlines after saying that he decided that he WILL stand for the national anthem next year. However, some people think that it’s far too late and now many liberals are calling him a sellout for not following through with his cause. Right now Kaepernick is not signed on with any team. Do you think that Kaepernick’s career is permanently over?
