President Donald Trump’s budget proposal has earned praise for the way Trump is reshaping priorities to protect Americans after eight years of neglect by corrupt international pushover President Barack Hussein Obama.
Quite notable in Trump’s budget is also the way he is finally bringing funding levels up to appropriate, deserving levels for the Department of Veterans Affairs, after the scandal that showed just how badly Obama was treating American veterans who needed help at the Veterans Administration. Some liberals, however, are angry about how some of their pet “nanny state” programs are being cut. One liberal just made the stupidest statement ever about it to Tucker Carlson.
Recently on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight, Tucker hosted Robin Bronk, who is CEO of a liberal group called the Creative Coalition. Bronk is upset that Trump’s budget will redirect taxpayer funds that went to the National Endowment for the Arts [NEA].
Asked Tucker, “The NEA is in effect, welfare for rich, liberal elites. Why should taxpayers be subsidizing entertainment for rich people?” Bronk then tried to argue that investing in the NEA creates economic development. Responded Tucker, “Cmon, ha ha ha, cmon. Look, there are a lot of ways to fund economic development, but you can’t tell me this is the most efficient way.”
Bronk then made the insane, obviously stupid and wrong statement that NEA funding somehow helps government institutions like the U.S. military. Carlson completely destroyed her by saying, “Let me ask you a question: What role did the NEA play, in say, the Battle of Fallujah.” When Bronk couldn’t give Tucker an answer he laughed in her face and said, “I mean, cmon, helps the military? Lets be real.” How much do you love Tucker for setting this idiot straight? Watch below:
