Former Star Trek actor and LGBT activist and outspoken Trump critic, George Takei has been accused of drugging a male model and attempted rape. Takei furiously denied the allegations. However, a Howard Stern interview recorded just before the allegations were exposed tells a very different story.
While making fun of President Trump’s Access Hollywood Tape, Howard Stern asked Takei if he ever In what would prove to be an ill-timed interview, actor George Takei was asked by radio host Howard Stern grabbed anyone “by the c**k against their will?” And for whatever reason. George Takei didn’t answer, he was just silent.
“Uh oh. You’ve never sexually harassed anyone, have you?” said Stern in response to the silence. Takei responded with laughter. “Some people are kind of… umm… skittish. Oh maybe… um… afraid and you’re trying to persuade,” responded Takei.
However, he acted very differently when he was actually accused. “Friends, I’m writing to respond to the accusations made by Scott R. Bruton. I want to assure you all that I am as shocked and bewildered at these claims as you must feel reading them. The events he describes back in the 1980s simply did not occur, and I do not know why he has claimed them now. I have wracked my brain to ask if I remember Mr. Brunton, and I cannot say I do,” tweeted Takei.
“Those that know me understand that non-consensual acts are so antithetical to my values and my practices, the very idea that someone would accuse me of this is quite personally painful,” tweeted Takei. Check out the video below.
