Liberal members have been attempting to trip Donald Trump up for the past two years, and still can’t wrap their heads around the fact that he is more intelligent than them and will throw their fake-clever tricks back in their faces.

This was on full display recently during President Trump’s trip to Asia when a reporter tried to embarrass Donald while he was appearing at an important news conference together with South Korean President Moon Jae-in in Seoul. Instead of focusing on the important international issues like North Korea that this trip was aiming to address, an unidentified reporter from NBC News tried to shame Trump for the Sutherland Springs, Texas church shooting. She asked him if he was thinking about implementing “extreme vetting” for people who wished to legally purchase forearms.

He replied, in an attempt to be polite, “You know you’re bringing up a situation that probably shouldn’t be discussed too much right now — we could let a little time go by.” He went on, taking the high ground, “But it’s OK, if you feel that’s an appropriate question, even though we’re in the heart of South Korea, I will certainly answer your question.”

He went on, “If you did what you’re suggesting there would have been no difference three days ago, and you might not have had that very brave person who happened to have a gun or a rifle in his truck and shoot him, and hit him and neutralize him.” Trump added, “I can only say this: If he didn’t have a gun, instead of having 26 dead, you would’ve had hundreds more dead. So that’s the way I feel about it. Not gonna help.”

The reporter, chastened, then feebly asked him if he was “considering any kind of gun control policy going forward.” He fired back, “When you look at the city with the strongest gun laws in our nation, is Chicago. And Chicago is a disaster. It’s a total disaster.” Trump added, “Just remember, if this man didn’t have a gun or a rifle, you would be talking about a much worse situation in the great state of Texas.” Do you think it’s pathetic that an American reporter would try to make our country’s sitting president look bad on an international stage like this?
