Clearly nothing is sacred to the liberal media, not even respecting the lives of the Americans who perished in the September 11th attacks on the anniversary of that tragic day. Instead of taking just one day off to pause and reflect on 9/11, MSNBC instead used the date to make a particularly nasty insinuation about Republican President Donald Trump.

On Andrea Mitchell’s show, the banner at the bottom of the screen read “Nation Pauses To Remember 9/11 Attacks.” However, at the same time Mitchell knocked President Trump for still looking for a successor to Gen. John Kelly to run the Department of Homeland Security, suggesting that Trump has made America vulnerable to attacks from abroad.

Commented Mitchell, “John Kelly has been White House chief of staff for more than a month, I think. At this point, we still don’t have a replacement for him at Homeland.” She then asked Obama’s Department of Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson, “How troubling is it that there is no nominee at this very complicated department?”

Answered Johnson over images of President Trump, “Well, today it’s a reminder that the job of secretary of Homeland Security is an incredibly important one to the American people, and I hope and expect that Trump will nominate somebody very soon for this very important position.”

Jeh continued, “It’s not just counterterrorism and natural disasters…and so it’s a job that needs to be filled. You need somebody at the cabinet level to keep their eye on all of this.” Are you disgusted that MSNBC used the 9/11 anniversary to make a baseless accusation about Trump? Watch below:
