Don Lemon tried to awkwardly flirt with a fellow reporter live on air who called herself fat. “We’re seeing the tops of trash cans flying around and this wind — I am not a small woman as you know Don, I am a chunky girl and it is blowing me around — when the gusts come really, really hard,” said Sara Sidner from Daytona Beach.

“So this is nothing to play around with. Everyone has been told that over and over again,” she said about Hurricane Irma.

“Thank you Sarah Sidner, you’re a beautiful woman no matter what size you are. And there is nothing wrong with having a little curve,” said Don Lemon as the segment ended. You could just feel the ‘cringe’ in the air.

Even liberal comedian Trevor Noah made fun of Don Lemon for this. “Wow. Okay, that was a bit weird because, uh… Don Lemon, that report said nothing about being beautiful… I wished the camera would have cut back to Sara [Sidner] to respond like, ‘Yeah Don, I never said I wasn’t beautiful.’”

Trevor Noah also made fun of CHris Cuomo for saying “There is a strong argument to be made that standing in a storm is not a smart thing to do. We do it so you don’t have to.” “Wait, did this guy just suggest that if reporters don’t go out into the hurricane then we’ll have to do it? Nobody has to do it,” she said.
