As special counsel Robert Mueller’s costly investigation has dragged on, some of the crooked tactics that members of his circle have been using have come to light.
For example, it was outed that a high-ranking FBI official named Peter Strzok used extreme anti-Trump bias in numerous investigations that the FBI made into President Donald Trump. Thankfully, this anti-Trump FBI official was felled by his own stupidity, when he advertised his hatred for Trump in a series of text messages.
Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy of upstate South Carolina is now determined to find out what exactly was in Strzok’s text messages. Stated Rep. Gowdy during an appearance on Fox Business News, “People have the right to assume that people who are investigating them are objective and have not already made up their minds. That’s why we need to see the text and interview this special agent.”
Partisan FBI official Strzok was, for example, a key part of the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unlawful use of a private email server. According to reports, Strzok was the person who changed former FBI Director James Comey’s statement about Hillary’s behavior from “grossly negligent” to just “extremely careless.”
Without Strzok’s interference, Clinton could have faced criminal charges if she had still been assessed as “grossly negligent.” Disturbingly, this same pro-Hillary, anti-Trump official led the FBI’s interviewing of Trump associate Michael Flynn. Do you think Gowdy needs to get to the bottom of this biased official’s involvement with Mueller’s investigation? Watch below:
